My Grandmother and Mother both have a set of these wonderful cutters and now they are buying me my own set as I set out on my own to continue the Christmas cookie baking tradition. My Grandmother's set is over 50 years old and my Mother's set is nearing 35 years of age. Both sets have held up beautifully but are starting show their age and they were worried they wouldn't make it to see me through years of Christmas baking. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years and believe me - not all those who work in customer service belong there. You have to be a people person, which the majority of them THEY ARE NOT! lol You wonder how some of them get or even keep their jobs. Even though you are in Accounting and not one of their customer service reps (which completely suprised me), I consider you one of their best. 8/31/09 I am writing to let you know that my order has arrived this morning.  I am very impressed at the speed for delivery.  I ordered this on the web on the 22nd August and arrived 1st September, which I thought was very quick for an International order.

I am more than impressed with the product as well.  It arrived extremely well packed, and apart from a crack on the cover of the topper (which I am not concerned about in the least)safe and undamaged.

6/12/09 Thanks! I thought if Sugarcraft decided to drop it for their customers there had to be a BIG PROBLEM. I even have trouble making invitations and business cards. When you deal with graphics and the colored inks it seems to never come out uniform. I sometimes waste more supplies than I use. I can appreciate your rambling because the experience was probably very nerve wracking and expensive. I am so happy to finally find a shop that is close to where I work (West Chester) and has everything you could ever need. I was like a kid in a candy shop the first time I shopped. Thank you guys so very much for taking the time to answer me and keep up the good work. I know everyone is so quick to complain if something goes wrong, but seldom praises a business when it is due. Judith 6/3/09 I stopped in your store yesterday (6/2) to buy another container of black fondant. I had problems with the 1st container (I used powder sugar to help with the sticking and made a royal mess). I asked the lady at the cash register what to do to not repeat the problem. She took the time to go back to ask the professionals what I could do. They suggested using a piece of vinyl to roll it out & then peel it off once it was on the cake. It worked like a charm !!! I just wanted to say thank you...you are always very helpful to me!! I'm not a professional cake decorator - I just have fun with it. 12/11/08 Today while procurring an order with your company I made errors that your employee, Delores, discovered immediately and phoned me just as she was leaving for the day.

She was so gracious and helpful and told me I had ordered the same products THREE times and something must be wrong with my computer and she wanted me to know so that these charges would not keep appearing on my credit card. What a sweetheart !
My children have since fixed the boo-boo on this end while Delores assurred me she would fix the error on the part of Sugarcraft and only one order would be sent ..she even told me that I might have to wait a few weeks for the bank to get the over-charge off my credit card billing ! She was so nice. You are lucky to have such a knowledgeable and commited employee !

3/19/08 Hello WONDERFUL Sugarcraft people, I just wanted to take a moment and compliment you on your EXCELLENT service.  Since I live in Hawaii, I accept that extra shipping is a fact of life.  However, your practice of calling the customer to notify them of the extra charges was taken for granted by me, until I experience another cake decorating website whom I shall not mention who merely sent me an email saying "extra charges will apply" ... then charged me triple the original charges.  The shipping charges were more than the item that I bought!  Well, even though this is probably more of a vent session, it is incidents like these that make people appreciate it when they really DO get good customer service.  SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! I went ahead and placed my cookie cutter order, noting on the online form that I needed them for guest gifts
at my November 3rd wedding.  When your company realized the cutter I chose was backordered so I
probably wouldn't receive them in time, they voided my order and left messages on both my home phone and cell
phone letting me know.

I want you to know how much I appreciate this!  Many companies would have moved the order forward, not
caring that it would not be received in time.  Two phone calls was certainly going the extra mile too.

I wanted to personally thank you for the care taken in packing my order.  I have had a few problems in the past with excessive breakage and have made you aware of them.  I also believe when something is done well to recognize that also as it is not done as often as businesses would like.  It is very easy to point out errors and mistakes.  Sometimes we forgot to write a note to say thanks as we think it is implied.  I take pride in my business and know it is very important to say thank you when you receive good customer service.  I went through unpacking my order and found only a few items broken which I understand is normal.

I wanted to personally thank you for the care taken in packing my order.  I have had a few problems in the past with excessive breakage and have made you aware of them.  I also believe when something is done well to recognize that also as it is not done as often as businesses would like.  It is very easy to point out errors and mistakes.  Sometimes we forgot to write a note to say thanks as we think it is implied.  I take pride in my business and know it is very important to say thank you when you receive good customer service.  I went through unpacking my order and found only a few items broken which I understand is normal.

The Karousel Turntable is wonderful.  Love the light weight of it! The bi-directional control is great!!!  and it is so smooth just wonderful. Monday 6/30/03 - I wanted to let you know that you have done a wonderful job on your web
site.  It's not fancy but it is very easy to navigate, you have some
great products, and you have added tons of information that is very
useful.  Kudos to your web folks.

I was curious though, as to why you do not send a confirmation email
when an order is placed.  As I understand your current system, it will
not send an email until my order is being shipped via UPS.  If for some
reason my order did not go through your electronic form correctly,  I
will wait 2-3 days without knowing if my order is in your system.  If
after 2-3 days I do not get an email from UPS, I would have to assume
that my order was not accepted and have to give you a call.  I think you
could improve your service to your customer by acknowledging their order
was placed and is being processed.


Need these items by 12/9/02.  If the Thanksgiving weekend slows the order up and I wont receive it in time, please let me know.
NOTE: I am actually saving money going through your site as opposed to Wilton's!  I'm so glad I found this site!  Thanks!

Oh my God, I made it! My first wedding cake ... and it was so beautiful.

Thanks ever so much for your support. What a hectic weekend it was for me.
Burnt the first set of cakes I made during the week (I never burn cakes,
don't know what happened this time) so had to make them all over again.
Didn't get to bed till 3.30 am on Friday - spent my time baking, waiting for
the cakes to cool and then icing them.

I made a three tier cake with the basket weave design. I used Marida's icing
- thanks so much for the recipe, it actually tastes very good - and iced the
cakes in the ivory colour I ordered from you. Boy, was I nervous!

I also made the initials of the bride and groom using the educators cake pan
I ordered from you a couple of years ago. Everything turned out so
beautifully.

At the reception, the bride insisted I be introduced as the one who made the
cake. Everybody loved it! I made a banana and praline (hazelnut) cake and
people went for second helpings 'cos they felt it tasted so good. I think
I'm in business. The amateur has turned pro!

Thanks ever so much for all your help and encouragement. I'm really thinking
seriously about coming to the States next year for a Wilton course and I
will definitely call on you when I get there.

Sometime ago you told us on the message board about your switch to UPS (only
for the States). Well here is my story about them
Last week (July 18) I ordered a couple of beauty things online from a
website in the States. They sent me an order confirmation that the stuff was
shipped the same day with UPS to Holland. It would take approximately (2-4
or 2-6 days can't remember anymore). This morning, just before leaving home
to go to the office, I received a phone call from UPS varifying my address,
because they couldn't read the handwriting. Can you believe it, the package
is already in Amsterdam, WOW. I was charged USD 23 for something that isn't
too heavy (about 1 lb.) but hey, the service you get is amazing.
Unfortunately I can't do this with my supply orders from you, it would cost
too much.

Just wanted to let you know what a great service UPS provides contrary to

Dear Sugarcraft: (I have added this so that people will know this works well!)

I just had to write and tell you how pleased we are with the liquid food coloring we ordered from
you!  We are using them to color wooden beads, spools, etc. for parrot toys.  Before ordering your
food colorings, we were using the tiny bottles found in the grocery stores.  Even after using a whole
bottle of the coloring mixed with a little water, the wooden pieces came out very pale.  Then, we
tried yours as soon as we got them.  WOW!  What a difference!!!  Our parrot toys are now bright,
vibrant and stimulating for the birds!   You can be sure we will be ordering more in the future!

was for the 3mm bead mold.  I received a phone call asking if I needed this
for a recent project because it would take 2 weeks due to backorder.  As
you know I plan way ahead (the beads are for May!!) so waiting the 2 weeks
was no problem.

The bead mold and pearl dust arrived exactly when I was told it would.

cake, due 29 August.  Your idea to solve my poblem of only a two inch difference between tiers with push-in pillars will work wonderfully well!  I
set up the plates just received and only one-inch larger than cake pan, put cake pans on plates and pillars, and added the ruffle around the edges.  Plus
the bottom tier on the 4-inch larger plate and sitting on the 10" roman pillars looks much better.  Looks like I'll be able to work out a bottom border just fine.  Now the cake looks more like a triangle.

It's still too tall, but that's what they want.  They won't even be able to see the cake topper -- can you believe it?  HA!  Well, whatever works for
them.  Hope other people besides bride and groom are over 6 feet!!!  Andrea

The "boyz" arrived onsite from Customs last evening about 5:00 as we were on our way out.  Picked up the box and took them home.

I am happy to report that first of all, they are as cute as can be!  Secondly, we only had a few casualites.  You are to be commended for the
packaging job.  And they are very professionally wrapped!  The Custom's officers helped themselves to 2 of the cookies; there were 2 cracked
right down the middle of the body and 2 that had broken legs.  Everyone else managed the journey safely and intact!

Just for your future packing information, the broken ones were on the very bottom box on an outside row.

Sarah is in the States for Thanksgiving, but I'm sure that she will agree when she sees them that they are as adorable as I think they are.
We have ordered a gingerbread house from a local baker that these guys will lounge around and then one will be given to every employee and
his/her spouse at our Christmas party on the 5th.  Cute!
