DIRECTIONS:
ARCH (premade and dried): The 'arch' is made of colorflow icing in royal icing consistency. (I used colorflow to make it so it would dry harder and not break). I added tulle* to the back to also add stability. I made up the pattern. But you could look at a plastic arch and make yours. Or you can use a plastic one.
Ice cake white. Add tuk 'n ruffle around cake, inserting it just under the iced cake to hold it in place.
PATH: Spread on a green icing 'path.' Pipe tip 232 'grass' and add tiny sprinke flowers.
HEARTS: Make a paper pattern and transfer it onto the cake. Pipe tip 13 pink zigzag first. Then go right on top of the zigzag with tips 3 then 2. The pipe tip 1 pink on top of the hearts.
TOP BORDER: Pipe tip 32 curved shells. Pipe over those with tip 3 then 2 and finally pink tip 1.
BOTTOM BORDER: Tip 32 straight shells.DOLLS: Pin on a circle of parchment paper for 'hats.' Skirts are petite doll pan cakes. Pipe tip 104 ruffles starting at the bottom and working up to the waist. I also added tip 0 pink edging on the ruffles on the skirt. Pipe pink bodices using tip 2. Add tip 1 pink string at shoulders. Decorate the hats with tip 1 or 2 zigzags.
You can use tiny icing flowers or artificial ones to carry in dolls hands.
I piped tiny tip 2 bows on the sides at the tops of the tip 14 white garlands and tip 2 pink stringwork.
Daisies are royal icing, white striped with deep pink and pink centers. TIP: I piped them out on wax paper squares, leaning each square with the flower on it braced against the last one - in a row...so they would curl naturaly and not dry flat..
This
PAN
is perfect for baking a bride or bridesmaids cake.

This
sketch is another decorating idea for the doll. But, as you can see from
the photo, all I did was tip 104 ruffles starting at the bottom and going
up to the waist.
The cake below is 2 half sheets (11 x 15"s), double- layers.
Cakes above are simple and not pictured in this book.
The columns were inserted down into the sheet cake.
The top of the cake is iced light blue, then blue piping gel has been spread over the icing to represent water.
Royal icing tip 2D drop flowers are seen ‘floating’ in the ‘water.’
Hats for the girls are made of parchment paper.
Cut a slit and overlap a bit for the peaked affect.
Corners of cake have been trimmed inward for a better
placement of the dolls.
* Sugarcraft carries doll picks to use as shown. We also
carry tulle in many colors.
