BAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Just follow the directions on the box. You may use your favorite cake recipes in this pan, also. Be sure to grease the pan and remember to use less batter in the smaller pan. If you don't have a turntable type microwave, rotate the cake every 2 minutes. You may need to experiment on timing since micros vary in wattage. Cool cake 3 minutes before removing from pan. |
| CONVENTIONAL
OVEN BAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
This pan can also be used in your gas or electric oven. Follow cake mix or recipe instructions. A regular size cake mix will make 2 micro size cakes. Remember to set this pan on a shiny aluminum cookie sheet when using a conventional oven. Bake at 325° for best results. Do not exceed 375 degrees. Will withstand up to 500 degrees. Cool cake 5 minutes in pan. Release from pan and finish cooling on a rack or towel. These pans can be used many times with reasonable care. They are not, however, designed to last forever. |
| INFORMATION:
It
was just pointed out to me that the instructions for these pans say that
you can use 'candy wafers' for the 'trims' such as ears etc. If this is
done, the proper name for these wafers is 'Compound Coating Chocolate.
It is available HERE.
Just melt as our directions (online w/chocolate) explain. To get the chocolate
just where you want it, put the melted chocolate into a decorating bag
with a small #2 tip. It will be easier and neater. Chill and the pieces
will fall out. Put a thin skim of icing on and put these pieces in place.
For 'eyes' let one color set up before adding the other color of melted
chocolate.
TIP: You've got chocolate anyway...add about 1/4 pound to your icing for great taste! |
