Oven Essentials Use and Care
To Prepare:
Before first time use, wash with
soapy water. Rinse and dry. Season non-stick surface with unsalted vegetable
shortening.
Stove-Top Use:
For gas and electric stoves. Always
use moderate heat, as overheating will result in the loss of non-stick
performance, as well as cause discoloration of the pan.
Oven Use:
This cookware may be used in gas
or electric ovens up to 400?F (200?C). Place 6" or more from the broiler
element.
Interior:
Nylon, wood or plastic utensils
are recommended to prevent scratching of non-stick surface. However, scratches
will not interfere with the non-stick quality; only the appearance.
Cleaning:
Thoroughly wash pan in hot, soapy
water. Never use harsh abrasives or steel wool. For tough stains, soak
and use a scouring pad safe for non-stick surfaces.
