DECORATING DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut a quarter sheet cake (8x11") lengthwise down the middle at a slight angle and place on top of quarter sheet as shown, making sure the sloped side is facing you.
2. With cake scraps or cupcake, mound up top, left side of cake for large gauge and continue to ice cake.
3. Immediately after spreading buttercream icing, comb lower top portion of cake as shown.
4. Airbrush* - canary yellow and super red as shown, being careful not to spray onto where checkered pattern will be placed. (Back of cake is sprayed same as front dash area variegating crisp flames at random).
 *If you do not have an airbrush, you can use our canned spray colors
5. Freehand trace checkered pattern top and sides, noting that the sides are at an angle with the down slope of the front dashboard.
6. Continue to pipe and fill in checkers with a #5 tip in black gel paste.
7. Using tip #2B, pipe golden yellow strip at top edge of dashboard as shown.
8. Using #5 tip, pipe gray line underneath golden yellow strip.
9. Using #8 tip, pipe headed black borders as shown.
10. Place your gauges in place with a dab of butter creme as shown.
11. In center of dash, pipe large mound of gray icing which will hold steering wheel. Can insert steering wheel or send with customer depending on durability of your cake and icing products used at your establishment.
12. Place helmet on top of cake as shown.
13. Pipe inscription upon customer's request.
14. Place waming sticker on outside of cake box. (Full color cake box available-Item #6628).

HOW WE DID IT IN OUR OWN WORDS
Cut a 8x11x2 inch sheet cake in half lengthwise at a slight angle.
Place on top of another 9x13x2 inch sheet cake with buttercream icing between.
Mound cake scraps to make rounded gauge area.
Ice over mound with thinned down frosting using a 8" angled spatula or use a cake icer tip.
Ice entire cake white and allow to crust. Mark checkered design.
Lay scraps of paper towels over checkered design.
Airbrush - yellow and red dash lined area.
Pipe tip 2B golden yellow band around top edge on sides of cake.
Pipe tip 5 black straight bottom border of strip.
Pipe tip 5 checkered design.
Pipe tip 8 top edge and bottom borders.
Add DecoSet with dots of icing.
