Lilacs

Color as desired.
The Lilac flower would require a 4 petal cutter #295 (Method shown used 5 petal cutter, but use the 4-petal cutter #295 the same way).
Place a gumpaste ball over hole of a CelPad 43-CC100.
Using small pin, rolled thin and cut for a trumpet type flower or form a
tear drop shape cone and thin for cutting using ruffle stick (TRUF18).

Insert hooked, covered wire dipped in gum glue (gum arabic) through center of flower and shape throat down wire.
Dab center a deeper lilac using Petal Dust. They look more life-like if you also dust the edges of petals. Use a flat brush.

Use the knife & scriber tool (43-C264) to make petal details
Use the Baby Veining Star #9 tool (43-6214) to form center.

Insert leaves as desire. Use leave Leaf Curved Plunger Cutter Set #1953. Place a (kelly) green gumpaste ball over hole of a CelPad 43-CC100.
Using small pin, rolled thin and cut over the slit in celpad with wire inserted. The slit will allow that part of the leaf to be thicker to accomodate the wire more successfully.

Assemble and shape once dried.
