Big Bright Bow! Cupcakes
Top your holiday cupcakes with a Big Bright Bow!
Each loop is formed from a candy spice drop that’s been rolled flat, trimmed
and curved into a loop.
Change your color scheme and this idea can shine all year long!

Tools:
Standard muffin pan
Cooling Grid
Jolly Santa Standard Baking Cups or seasonally themed baking cups
Scissors
Spatula
Quick Ease Roller 1907-1202
Disposable Decorating Bags
Ingredients:
Buttercream icing
Large Red Spice Drops
granulated sugar
Your favorite cupcake recipe
Makes: Each cupcake serves 1.
 
FLATTEN GUM DROPS:
 Step 1 
Cut gum drops horizontally in half.
 Step 2
Sprinkle granulated sugar on work surface.
 Step 3
Place gum drop on granulated sugar and flatten with a rolling pin.

Step 1
Bake cupcakes in Christmas Themed Standard Baking cups and cool completely on Cooling Grid.
Step 2 
For bow, start by rolling out 8 spice drops on a surface sprinkled with granulated sugar to make 3/8 x 2 1/2 inch long strips. Fold each strip in half to form a loop and place on side to set. For center knot, roll out a 3/8 x 2 inch long strip, and seal ends together to form a ring. Place on side to set. 
Step 3 
Prepare Buttercream Icing recipe, and ice cupcakes smooth with white icing using Spatula.
Step 4 
Position loops around edge of cupcake with ends pointing toward the center. Place ring in center to finish bow.
