Angel-White Icing Base Recipe 

3 3/16 c Angel-White Icing Base available here
4 1/3 lb Confectioners Sugar
2 9/16 cup Solid Shortening
2/3 T Salt
1 1/4 oz Vanilla Flavor (Clear)
I cup Water (more if needed)

Place all ingredients except water into mixer bowl. Add 2/3rds of the water and mix on low until blended. Add the rest of water gradually while increasing to medium speed. Mix approx. 10 minuets after all water is added. If too thick add more water until consistency desired.

NOTES: Scrape down bowl several times during mixing. Longer mixing increases volume, stabilizes the icing and does not breakdown. Vary the amount of water to suit weather conditions. Use less in hot weather and more in cold weather.

Storage: Store and use at room temperature 70-80 degrees. Do not melt! Keep container covered when not in use.
