INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Daisies: Roll out gumpaste to about 1/4 to 1/8 inch
thick on very clean smooth surface. It is best to use a small rolling pin
or other round object for rolling. Place on crumpled foil pieces to dry
so petals turn up slightly. Keep other cutouts covered while smoothing
each one. It is best to only cut 2-3 at once. Make extras to allow for
breakage. It looks like you need 30 or 40 daisies.
-
Centers for Daisies: Make a tiny ball of gumpaste.
Press into Centre stamp of appropriate size. Use a brush dipped in water
to glue the centers on the daisies.
-
Edible glitter: Dampen finger slightly and dampen
daisie center. Apply glitter using a pointed brush.
-
Let dry overnight.
-
Assemble cupcake tree. I don't know how they 'piled'
them up. It looks like they simply started stacking them into the shape
of a 'tree'. Maybe they used buttercream icing to hold them in place.
-
Place daisies on cupcakes using a dab of buttercream
icing for glue.
