Method: *Note*
Using Impression Mat on Pleats:

Once paste is rolled to the desired size, lift and dust underneath with cornstarch to ensure piece does not stick, place mini impression mat #GIM01M (or other desired pattern) over paste and roll so the paste is impressed with the pattern.  Dust patter with a luster or white pearl before or after removing the mat, both will achieve their own unique designs.  Remove mat and continue to trim, and pleat as directed below.

To Achieve the scalloped pleats:

Take the #NNFTC - Fluted Teardrop Cutter Set in the desired size and cut only the bottom of your completed Pleats before adhearing to your cake.  This can be done by using only the bottom of the cutter and rocking the cutter over the bottom edge of your paste until cut, then you can pick up the straight top edge of the paste and adhere to cake as instructed below.

To Create floral applique for top tier:

Using the #TEE26 & #TEE33, roll out a strip of paste just thick enough to emboss, but thin enough to not look heavy on the cake, press one embosser into paste ensuring you get a strong impression and before lifting use accompanying cutter to cut out the lace piece.  Remove paste from cutter and embosser, dust with #C411 White Pearl Dust, and adhear directly to top tier using a small amount of water.

*For plain pleats, simply follow directions below*
