You especially need this software when printing circles, hearts, bus. cards etc. This software allows you to align the circles. . A wonderful graphics program I don't know what I'd do without! Please note that instructions are included with each packet of frosting sheets that go along with Photo Express software. Another version is called I-Photo Plus. Both do the same thing. PRINT HEAD CLEANING
Deep clean your print head with the printing function to Improve performance and to increase print head life. Take the ink cartridges out, re-cap and set aside. Put Print Head Cleaning Tanks in each appropriate slot. Print a picture on plan paper using the Print Head Cleaning Tanks. Although your picture will be blank, this may remove dried ink particles. Non-toxic formula.

To determine (on your own) if any color tanks will fit, go to your local printer supplies store and see below.

Ink ingredients are FDA/ECC approved and Kosher. Kolor Kartridges have a 1 year shelf life. Make sure to re-cap your edible ink cartridges to prevent them from drying out AND store them in an extra thick zip lock bag until next use. Never store edible ink cartridges in the refrigerator.

You may need to "prevent abrasion with the i9900. DO NOT set print at photo quality for Frosting Sheets. The extra tanks are only used when printing at Photo Quality and during Cleaning Cycles. However for Cake Printing, set your printer to Standard Quality printing and Plain paper. For i9900: In Printer Properties, Maintenance tab, Custom Settings, ensure "Identify Paper Type" is NOT Checked.

REFILL EDIBLE FOOD COLORING
For filling food coloring printer tanks. Individual colors will save you money! Do NOT refill the same kartridge more than 4 times, it may cause a build up behind the wick of the print head. Do not refrigerate. Some bottles will require a syringe for dispersing the color into the tank.

NOTE FROM DOLORES: I recommend that you always have these on hand. It may just save you in an emergency when you suddenly run out. Saving you expensive shipping charges for a next day package!

FOR NEWEST MODEL PRINTERS: If your printer is not listed anywhere, or is only below this note, you are going to need to do a little research at the store where you bought the printer. Check the ink cartridges for what printers are listed - and what from our list fits yours. Ask your vendor if your printer takes a cartridges that matches any of these. IF it doesn't, we can't help. There are just 3 dif. types of cartridges that contain the food coloring you need to print frosting sheets.

FIND THE PRINTER: No brand but CANNON will work. These are all Cannon Bubble Jet printers that spray out a very fine mist. If you cannot find one of these printers that work for what we are doing, go to Cannon's website and order it.... that is where I got mine. They have good tech & sales service if you ever need help. Cannon's website is: http://www.usa.canon.com. Cannon will not advise you about food coloring cartridges and does not sell them. In fact, it can void your warranty with Cannon to use the food coloring cartridges because Cannon designed them for ink. REVISED! Some Epson printers may work: *EPSON PRINTER SUPPLIES HERE

FIRST: What you really need to do is to go to the store where printers are sold and choose a printer. Then go to the ink cartridges at this store and check to be sure yours is compatible with one of these or several. The same cartridges fit many printers. THEN, come here and get the cartridges filled with food coloring.

GET THE FOOD COLORING FILLED CARTRIDGES & FROSTING SHEETS OF CHOICE HERE:
Once you have the proper printer, come back here for the food coloring filled cartridges. You will probably also want the PHOTO EXPRESS software above on this screen. Directions for it's use are included with packs of our Kopyjet frosting sheets. You may also want a set of refill colors. I find these exceptionally handy. Before I insert a new cart. I drop in 2-3 drops of that color from the refill bottle. This seems to take care of any dried coloring and saves a lot....rather than using the cleaning of the software, which just 'drinks' coloring!

Q. Are you going to have cartridges for the new Canon printer i9900? It has 8 cartridges.
A. I don't know. That must be a new model. New models come out about every 6 months.
Regardless, there are exactly 3 different cartridges that WILL work... and no others. Find out if your printer takes the same cart. as the s9000... I bet it does. If you look on the cartridges filled with ink in the store, your printer should be listed on the box the real ink cartridge is in (this info isn't listed on the ones we sell filled with food coloring). As for the extra cartridges, they will still have magenta, cyan, yellow or black ...or any combo of. So you need to order more cartridges for yours than come in the set for the 9000. Just order the set then the extras separately.
ADVICE: Never ever buy the printer before you FIRST find out if the cartridges we carry will fit into it! No others are made.
